I was born in a log cabin in the mountains of East Tennessee. My first table food was Alphabet Soup, and I've been spitting out words ever since.
As a former newspaper writer for the Cleveland Daily Banner, most of my writing is non-fiction and includes articles for corporate newsletters, user manuals, and church publications.
In 2006, the desire to tell stories bit me like a mammoth mesquito, and my first short story, "Christmas Mourning," appeared in an anthology, which released in November 2008.
I find joy on earth in my grandchildren and being married to my soul mate for 24 years. We've travelled all across this great country and jumped across the waters in 1988 to visit Egypt, Jordan, and Israel.
It took me pretty near 14 years to graduate from college, but I made it with a B.S. in accounting. Writing doesn't make ends meet. So, during the day, I'm a Staff Accountant for a manufacturing company near Chattanooga. I joined up with the Chattanooga Writers Guild and co-founded Thunder Rock Writers. Now, I'm just about all over the World Wide Web. Look for me at ShoutLife, MySpace, Facebook, and Linked In.
